V500 Series

The V500 family of VFDs is Mitsubishi's newest high performance, full featured full-vector drive that offers the following improved capabilities over the A500 series.:

precise positioning control
full torque control
accurate speed control

The V500 covers a wide range of sizes from 1/2 to 1400 hp and voltages that include 230,480 and 575 VAC. The V500 can be operated as a V/F drive for simple applications, a sensorless Vector drive for more starting torque and with encoder feedback for the ultimate in Vector performance. The V500 has three option slots that can accommodate a variety of option cards such as encoder feedback, 120 VAC inputs, relay outputs, isolated analog I/O and a variety of communication cards which include DeviceNet, Profibus,Ethernet, Modbus Plus and others.
