The
F500 family of VFDs is Mitsubishi's cost-effective solution
for simple pump and fan applications where high starting
torque is not required. The F500 is a V/F (non-vector) drive
available in a wide range of sizes from 5 to 1400 hp and
voltages that include 230 and 480 VAC. It has a number of
software features specifically designed for fan and pump
applications including advanced PID control, pump alternation
and energy saving modes. The F500 has three option slots
that can accommodate a variety of option cards such as 120
VAC inputs, relay outputs, additional analog inputs and
a variety of communication cards which include DeviceNet,
Profibus and Modbus Plus and many others.
