Series
The
A700 family of VFDs is Mitsubishi's newest high performance,
full featured full-vector drive that offers the following
improved capabilities over the A500 series which it is replacing:
- Real
Sensorless Vector (RSV) control for extremely fast speed
response

Speed torque control without encoder

positioning control

Gain and Model Adaptive tuning for better speed control

PLC function for additional control flexibility
The A700 covers a wide range of sizes from 1/2 to 1400 hp
and voltages that include 230, 480, 575 VAC. The A700 can
be operated as a V/F drive for simple applications, a sensorless
Vector drive for more starting torque and with encoder feedback
for the ultimate in Vector performance. The V500 has three
option slots that can accommodate a variety of option cards
such as encoder feedback, 120 VAC inputs, relay outputs,
isolated analog I/O and a variety of communication cards
which include DeviceNet, ControlNet,Profibus,Ethernet I/P
and others.
