A700 Series

The A700 family of VFDs is Mitsubishi's newest high performance, full featured full-vector drive that offers the following improved capabilities over the A500 series which it is replacing:

precise positioning control
full torque control
extremely fast speed response - 300 rad/s !
Internal PLC function for additional control flexibility

The A700 covers a wide range of sizes from 1/2 to 1400 hp and voltages that include 230,480 (575 VAC coming soon). The A700 can be operated as a V/F drive for simple applications, a sensorless Vector drive for more starting torque and with encoder feedback for the ultimate in Vector performance. The V500 has three option slots that can accommodate a variety of option cards such as encoder feedback, 120 VAC inputs, relay outputs, isolated analog I/O and a variety of communication cards which include DeviceNet, ControlNet,Profibus,Ethernet I/P, Modbus Plus and others.

	F500(L) (Has been replaced by the F700 series) The F500 family of VFDs are Mitsubishi's cost-effective solution for simple pump and fan applications where normal starting torque is acceptable. The F500 is a V/F (non-vector) drive available in a wide range of sizes from 5 to 1400 hp and voltages that include 230 and 480 VAC. It has a number of software features specifically designed for fan and pump applications including advanced PID control, pump alternation and energy saving modes. The F500 has three option slots that can accommodate a variety of option cards such as 120 VAC inputs, relay outputs, additional analog inputs and a variety of communication cards which include DeviceNet, Profibus and Modbus Plus and many others. 	E500 The E500 family of VFDs is Mitsubishi's high performance, compact and economical solution for sizes ranging from 1/8 to 10 hp. The E500 VFDs are available in 460 VAC, 230 VAC and 120 VAC single phase versions and have full sensorless vector capabilities for high starting torque. The E500 is an excellent solution when the performance of a Vector drive is required in a small, economical package. It is available in a DeviceNet version.
