Arrow Speed Controls is the leading Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) integrator in North America. Our leadership in the speed control industry extends over 25 years and we have well over 20,000 successful system installations. We specialize in heavy industries with an emphasis on forestry, pulp & paper, mining and petrochemical.

Arrow Speed Controls is a complete VFD systems integrator with design, manufacturing, start-up and service capabilities. Our staff engineers have over 100 years of speed control experience between them and can design a complete system to meet your needs from a simple fan application to a complete sawmill with multiple drives networked together. Our vast experience with variable frequency drive applications allows us to guarantee that our systems will work properly in your application.

In addition to VFDs we also have extensive experience with Soft Starts, Dynamic Brakes, DC Motors and Controls and Servo applications. We also specialize in PLC control systems and can design a control system from a simple level control to a complete mill.

Our manufacturing shop is fully CSA and UL approved and has fifteen full-time technicians. Our capabilities include everything from 1 HP motor starters to full MCC lineups with multiple VFDs.

Arrow Speed Controls understands that after sales service and support is vital to the success of our customers' business so we have assembled a team of several factory trained service technicians who are available 24 hours a day. These technicians perform start-ups and field service for our products across North America. We also have a full-time board level repair technician who can service the products we sell. We maintain a stock of over $1.5 million dollars of product and spare parts to support our technicians.

When I founded Arrow Speed Controls in 1980, my goal was be a trusted provider of reliable speed control solutions to industrial customers. Almost 30 years later I am pleased to say that although Arrow Speed has experienced tremendous growth, our core values have remained the same:

Although my small company has grown up to become Canada's largest VFD integrator, we pride ourselves on having a small company attitude that carries over to our day to day business dealings.
